Howzat for 16 Years!

Ah Birthdays, filled with such joy and excitement. My boy has had the most rotten time recently with the start of his exams coinciding with a dreadful bout of tonsilitis and tests for glandular fever. He and I have lain recumbent on the sofas and enjoyed the whole of the world championship snooker! The things you never think will come out of your mouth.

Today he was delighted to start the day with blood tests before ripping into presents and his first ever trip to a Krispy Kreme. Man those Donuts are sickly.
As always the penny toy, a coconut shy, was his favourite. I wonder at what age I will stop buying him a nonsense gift together with a bouncy ball. He bounced around the house and the local park all day and returned in time for more presents and more cake. This one less sweet and full of home made goodness.

Happy 16th Birthday precious boy you fill our hearts with joy, love and laughter. Things are definately on the up - keep bouncing. Love, Love, Love x
