Going fishing

Quite a few big, beautiful boats are anchored out there in the bay, or berthed in the marina. And lots of smaller craft are regularly trailered in by visitors intent on going out on the reef for a spot of fishing. But there are those who are content just to head off gently up the river and throw in a line or two. That's why the tourist park people on the "other" side of the bridge keep these dinghies handy. Believe me, some mighty good catches are brought back to the caravans and cabins.
