Oh what a beautiful day

AT LAST, spring arrived. A beautiful day, without that cold wind that's marred even the sunniest of days so far.

I tootled off to Homebase quite early, spent £42 on plants and soil, and came home happy. Taped newspaper to the patio table, lugged my bag of soil and plants from the car boot, and got to work in the sunshine. Three hanging baskets and three pots later, I sat back and surveyed my work - this isn't it, by the way (well, apart from the rectangular pot), but it looked so pretty in the sunshine - and sipped on a long, cool drink.

Unfortunately, I forgot the sun cream...
