Day of two halves

After an unpleasant day travelling up to see West Ham lose yet again, with the journey a nightmare of cancelled trains and then driving through terrible traffic, had an enjoyable evening in Brighton with J&L, first for a brief pub stop in Hanover and then eating at Indian Summer, which we hadn’t been to for many years. Food was very good though I should have had the thali like the others. Brighton seems so lively at night compared to our area.
