Myst
The Boss had a real fondness for this interactive game of the 80's and was rapt when he found it on the App store but in fact has hardly ever been back to play it. Are there any Myst fans out there? The day started cool...very cool and the bad news is that this is No 1 of the "Mists of May" which is actually inversion (btw I love inversion when it comes with a tummy rub) and altho this was gone by 10.00 am the condition will worsen as the month progresses and diminish with the arrival of lots of snow...so the story goes. This condition is much worse over the hill in Alexandra where the town can be blanketed for weeks with sub zero temperatures and often hoar frosts. Photographers just adore it but the citizens go completely loopy and I can't blame them. This is the only regular bad weather event for Wanaka and many flee the kennel to the Gold Coast of Aus and other exotic locations but The Boss actually likes the condition and has done some grrreat photography during this time, suitably insulated of course.
Lots of barks for your fabulous support of 'The Last of the Summer Wine' yesterday. The Boss is still struggling to catch up but will, as always do his best.
This is actually the lake front looking at the lake and mountains and you will see on the right that the sun is starting to burn through. No reflections, wonderful light, figures in the right place or other good stuff. We seem to have mist that.
Feeling a little foggy?
