Setting out our stall

It’s three years since we last had a Charities Fair in Salen so it was great to be able to get together for this very sociable event where a number of charities could raise some money by selling cakes, art work, Christmas cards, raffle tickets. Four of us representing Dervaig Community Orchard set up a stall to sell items that we had made at our weekly Orchard Makers Group. There were candles, knitted hats, cards, jam, pin cushions, aprons, Christmas decorations, cushions, just to name a few.  We sold quite a lot so we will need to get busy to produce more things for “Dervaig Does Christmas” in just over a month’s time.
