Preparation

When I walked Dog today I noticed two new benches on the green, and I could see that there was a sort of fenced off area where B’s is to go, so I walked up there. Prep is underway! 

I had another sight test today, and to my relief she said that the other prescription wasn’t ‘quite right’. I’m not going mad! So, they have taken the glasses back and I will get them back in a couple of weeks. 

This afternoon I took down all the lights in the courtyard. B and I loved the ones that went all the way round, and always put them on as part of Christmas decorations, and also in the summer evenings. But, the whole section entwined in the wisteria had to come out, which broke the chain, so they have all gone, together with solar strings I had in various places. Who knows, I may replace them sometime, but the courtyard looks so wrong anyway without the screening and it’s just the wrong time to try and do anything with it.
