The anti violence Bee

This sculpture made from knives and firearms from the streets of Manchester arrived in the Abbey Park this afternoon. It’s made by British Ironworks near Shrewsbury, in the same vein as the Angel made of knives that was around a while ago.

We then went into the Abbey for the Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary concert: Slavonic Dances by Dvorak , Enigma Variations by Elgar and a composition especially for the occasion by George Owen entitled Worcestershire Rhapsody.

Now home before Folk in the Foyer later.
