Hydrangea

A beautiful day, warm enough to have the door open for a while. I did some tidying in the garden before coming indoors to make a gingerbread for Mahjong on Tuesday. I chose a recipe of my mother’s but had to use ordinary raisins instead of the huge seeded ones she used to use. This gingerbread needs to mature and should be good by Tuesday.
Outside, the hydrangea flowers are darkening in colour, but could look good for a while yet.
