Poky Orange Fruit

This is a new fruit for me. It's bigger than my fist but smaller than an average grapefruit. Supposedly, it has a lot of health benefits including helping you feel cooler in the hot weather. That got my attention! So I bought a bottle of the juice. (Great marketing for a hot day.) It was very tasty and refreshing, but I don't know if I felt cooler after drinking it. :)

However, I still don't know what we would call this fruit in English. I googled "poky orange fruit," "exotic orange Thai fruit," and all the other combinations I could think of but couldn't find it. Considering this is my first spotting in almost three years, I think it's safe to say this is one of the more rare Thai fruits
