Veteran’s Day 2022

This is a picture of my dad that always hung in our living room. He served in WWII where he was seriously injured and survived. I am of course so glad he did. He and my mom raised 6 of us on what he earned working as a deep coal miner in a little town in West Virginia. I shared a birthday with him. He is no longer with us but I feel his presence daily and truly wish he had gotten to meet all of his grands and great grands.
