Scarborough

A short trip for a wander around Scarborough’s North Bay this afternoon. 

First stop was this Ray Lonsdale sculpture of Freddie Gilroy. He was one of the first soldiers to enter the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Rather liked this view towards the castle. 

A wander through Peasholme Park with lots of harsh looks from the resident squirrels who felt we should feed them. One even ran up the leg of a man feeding them peanuts.
