Armistice Day.

Yesterday evening a fellow teacher and I spent some time creating a regiment of wooden peg soldiers. I blipped the efforts of my class earlier in the week and today I blip the finished piece of art using the pegs of every child in school. It was a very simple idea but I think it's quite effective.

It has also been a great way to help the children understand the act of remembrance which took place at 11am today when school fell silent for two minutes.
