For John

Here's to John (Iain) McPherson, who died last night. John was DJ's golfing partner in Scotland and a genuinely good guy with so many stories to tell from his years as prison warden to his years in the oil industry. Probably St Johnstone's greatest fan. One of the strongest men we knew but unfortunately plagued by Parkinson's disease these final years. Covid has stopped us from visiting Scotland and him the last three years, which is such a shame. Love to his daughter and son-in-law. May he rest in peace.
