The Sheep Has Been Shorn

Meg has been clipped for the summer. She always looks 5 or 6 years younger once she's had her hair cut. If only it worked the same for me, might as the lady that clips her to cut mine while she's at it.

The excellent groomer, Fiona, is a neighbour of my mum and dads. Parentals and I were off out on a day long errand, so I gave her the key to the back porch to put Meg in after she'd been clipped. The person who locked up (He shall remain nameless) when we left, left their back porch key in the porch. Fiona put Meg in and then locked the door and posted the key through the letterbox.

We were locked out. I tried to get my arm into the letter box, but couldn't reach. I tried to locate some wire, but it was in the garage and that was locked. So finally I found a twig and was able to hook out the key.

Meg was very happy to be able to get out and I think the parentals were very happy to get in!

Though the real highlite of my day was seeing my local "celebrity" MP in Booths. It's a shame he had his wife with him, or I'd have asked for a photo of him!
