Windsor blaze

As I was making my way home from the station after a night at a Moroccan Tourist Board do in London, I came across this more newsworthy event. The Fire Brigade was fighting a fire which had totally destroyed a grade II listed house in Park Street in the centre of town. It was being renovated and was under scaffolding. It had echoes of a rather more catastrophic and famous fire to hit another residence in the town in 1992 !

By the time I got there it was more a case of damping down. The flames had all but disappeared.

This was my planned blip that didn't quite make it !
