Flu jab, rum, art, covids and a walk

In town today to do a little shopping and get the flu jab. We'd booked an afternoon time for the jab and parked the car half-way between the medical centre and the state off-licence, System Bolaget, thus ensuring at least a short walk.
We started our time in town with a visit to the art gallery to look at a couple of exhibitions. They were both interesting and both contained some works I really liked, and others that didn't impress me in the least!
Then it was of to the medical centre to get a flu jab. There seemed to be a crowd of people already waiting and I thought we were in for a long stay, but they had a lot of staff doing the injections in many rooms so the turn-over was rapid and in 20 minutes we were done and taking the scenic (muddy) route back to town, along the south sound.
As we walked there, through a sort of park alongside the sea, the crows were settling down to roost for the night. They were still restless, many flying from tree to tree, while others seem to have snoozed off already. It was very atmospheric and we both had our cameras out.
By the time we got back to town it was dark and we bought some wine and rum and then drove home for some hot chocolate. We drank that while sitting around the woodburner, and I thought of an advert from my young days - Hot chocolate, drinking chocolate!
