Life and Death

Photographed this little fella today whilst walking Hollie at Oaken. 

The light was appalling and I considered not uploading it. 

Noisy high ISO and not very steady hands.

But I did, and so you have it. A tiny mushroom growing on the edge of an ancient, dead tree trunk.
