Remembrance

Today we took the train to Edinburgh and had a successful visit to the travel agent- very excited with flights all booked for our trip to Australia next August for our niece’s wedding.! 

The blip shows the gardens laid out with crosses and poppies and the lovely Edinburgh skyline in the background- I suspect there will be a remembrance event here tomorrow.

In the evening we cleaned the church blackboard and Mrs AMK wrote a message - there will be a piper and service here tomorrow at 11 am. This is the first time I have taken a photo of the blackboard in the dark but strangely the message seemed appropriate. ( 1st extra).

The 2nd extra was taken from the train crossing the Forth Bridge just as we were returning to the Fife side.
