Hat-titude

After several weeks of particularly sporadic Blipping, I just want to give you all an update, with M’s permission, about what’s going on around these parts. 

Just before we visited Copenhagen in August, M discovered via a routine breast screening (thank you, NHS!) that something was amiss. When we got home, further test results confirmed that it was cancer.

M’s now on her 3rd round of chemo (she’ll have 6 rounds in total, followed by surgery, radiotherapy and ongoing drug treatment), and she’s being amazing.

There have been bad days, better days and pretty good days but we’re trying to take it a day at a time, and adjust to it all as we go along. Happily, I’ve been able to continue working remotely from M’s house, and we’re more or less muddling though, learning all the time. I think we’d both agree that it’s an almighty slog, and we’re each exhausted in our own ways, but we’re trying to stay as positive as possible, and to celebrate the joys of living and loving - both big and small.
