Hinterland farm

Warm clear spring evening and no work tonight for Karen, this means a meandering stroll along the river. A harmless enough pastime one would think but not with our dog and my Karen.

The cows on the farm tonight decided to come and have a proper look and nosey, only then I discovered Karen had been waving grass at them behind my back. I thought it was strange them posing so well for me.

We walked some more and then sat and watched Lapwings feeding on the wing, ready to head back the dog proved she was the worlds most stupid hound (another story) and then to top it all Karen managed to fall over on the marsh edge, face down unable to get her footing to retrieve some sort of dignity simply lay there, laughing as normal. One in a million my Karen!
Needless to say the cows weren't too interested on the return trip I think they were trying to distance themselves from any risk of calamity.

All in all a normal day for us.
