Cosy

Cannon offered to take an extra little person to sgoil-àraich this morning so I stayed at home so there was space in the pick up. I’ve had a cosy day inside doing my changeover ironing, making bread for the first time in a few months and reading my new books. I finished ‘Small things like these’ by Claire Keegan in one sitting as it was only 100 pages but really packed a punch. I love Irish literature and found this book deeply moving, it reminded me of books I read during my English Literature GCSE about the mother and child homes and Magdalene laundries.
