Rainman
So, big party tonight ... planned this for a week, the weather forecast said sunny, but no, the dude upstairs thinks it is a very good idea do start pouring tears like a little bitch just when we planned a barbeque party with our friends. It hasn't rained almost for three weeks. I'm really happy for the plants and stuff but c'mon man ... today, really ... you couldn't hold it in for another day. And for all the Christians I'm not talking about the big Mr. G ... I'm talking about the rainman!
But its ok, we just have to drink more booze and dance instead of barbequing!
The picture is a tulip from our little garden. We planted the bulbs in fall and they all came out. A caprine (kits) ate some for breakfast but left most of the tulips for our viewing pleasure.
Although tulips are associated with Holland, both the flower and its name originated in the Persian empire. The tulip, or lale (from Persian lâleh) as it is also called in Turkey, is a flower indigenous to Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and other parts of Central Asia.
Tip: If an object to be photographed is in shadow or dark area and you want light, use mirror/mirrors to light the subject (reflecting the sun or bright sky).
