A pair of Greylags

Spotted this pair of Greylags at Bassenthwaite this afternoon and spent a while watching them both in and out the water. There were numerous people along the lake edge looking out for Ospreys and one very kind person let me look through his telescope thingy. I didn't see an Osprey but did see the nest! Went to the marsh this evening to watch the sun go down. It was very hazy and the sun disappeared behind cloud but a while later it reappeared as a red ball. A couple of images on flikr
