Naturelover and Hubby in Nature
Shelley (Naturelover) and Al (Lovenaturelover) posing in front of Indian Mill in central Ohio. We are on our way to Hocking Hills, Ohio for a couple of nights.
We made a few other stops along the way, Our Lady of Consolation minor basilica in Carey, Ohio, the Harding Memorial in Marion, Ohio, and the Parker covered bridge.
It was kinda cool at the mill when a worker on a lawn-mowing tractor showed up to have lunch. His great-grandpa was the last store-keeper at the mill back when it was grinding out product.
We pulled into our cabin an hour before sunset, and promptly got stuck in the stone-filled driveway. I had to back down the steep driveway, drop it into a lower gear, and gun it up the hill. It was a cheap thrill.
After a lasagna dinner, we had a couple rousing games of Five Crowns. Hiking is planned on the morrow.
In the Extras are the inside of the basilica, and Al and Shelley at the base of the Harding Memorial.
P.S. Why is my picture late? We were so far out in the sticks that we had no phone service and no internet.
