Vibia

I was alerted to this new mural at Auchinstarry Marina by a recent social media post by Scottish Canals. According to the blurb, "It is inspired by Vibia Pacata, the wife of the commander at Westerwoods fort and one of the few women recorded on the Antonine Wall."

The post went on to say there are other murals planned along the Canal, so I expect I'll be visiting them once I find out more. Can't resist a good mural!
