Empty Shells

Just a few days ago these were fairly whole windfall apples, maybe a bit knocked about with one or two bites taken out of them, but not too bad.  I was quite surprised to see how quickly they had been hollowed out.

Today has been a lovely day.  I took the opportunity to spend some time weeding the rotting nasturtiums in my blip a couple of days ago.  The nasturtium seeds have been dug in and will probably grow into little plants next year and I have saved the calendulas in a bag so I can collect their seeds once they have finished drying out.
