change what you eat

Better weather today - D dropped me at Irongray Church on his way to college and I walked home. The roofers arrived and were happy to be working in sunshine for a change :-)

I don't know who dropped all this litter in the lay-by at Routin Brig but I would say that for many reasons they need to change what they eat (and where they eat it, and what they do with their rubbish). So many empty calories from processed food.

I've always liked Michael Pollan's advice when it comes to food, which is "Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants". As most people know by now, my diet is only plants. I originally chose to eat this way for reasons of compassion, not for the climate, but it helps.

Tea tonight was Aubergine fesenjan and apple crumble :-)
