Between fen and mountains

The dolmen

As there was a risk of rain in the afternoon, our weekly walk was reduced to just a morning walk along the ridge between the two valleys. It was only 8 km and 300 m of climbing but it was good to catch up with friends and have a good chat. We were back at the cars before lunchtime but we decided to eat our sandwiches outside rather than taking them home. In the afternoon I did some painting before a Zoom meeting with the Archdeacon of France. We are trying to find a chaplain to look after the three churches in our three neighbouring departments. The project has financial implications for us and we are trying to work out if it is viable.
