Snuggle Time
So today we got to come home! WAHOO!!! There was a moment in the last 24 hours that we were worried Andrew may have to stay at the hospital due to excessive weight loss. I am glad to report it was a batch of misinformation and both Andrew and Carter are home and sleeping soundly (as is mom) as I upload and journal.
I took this picture this morning as the boys shared their hospital bed and I was thinking this was the first time they were actually face to face. The entire time that they were in the womb they seemed to face opposite directions. They now are in this position in their new bed in Mommy and Daddy's room.
We also found out that the only car seats that we could get to fit next to Hannah's car seat, will not work correctly due to the lack of reclinability (I just made that up I think)/back seat design. So for the ride home I had to shove our dirty clothes under one end of the seats to have them recline back far enough that the babies heads didn't end up in the middle of their chests (I don't think the law would have approved).
So now the question is. . . are we going to "jerry rig" the chairs or upgrade to a vehicle that allows for a true infant car seat to sit our 3 children across the back seat. . . . something new every day is seems
