Long-tailed Ducks

Just a cycle along to Scapa Bay. There was a puffin reported there yesterday but it wasn't there so far as I could see. There were 14 long-tails, 1 red-breasted merganser, 1 guillemot, 2 black guillemots, c25 turnstone, c20 ringed plover, 4 redshank. On ponds along the Crantit Trail on the way beck there were 25 wigeon, a little grebe and a moorhen. The ducks in the image were not disturbed by me, but by a boat departing the pier. Extra is them back a few minutes later and under a greyer sky.
