Operation Butterfly Garden, Phase Two

My team of workers completed phase two of my planned bee and butterfly garden.  John mowed and Ethan used my garden auger to drill a zillion (just an estimate) holes for my seeds.  The auger was an impulse by at the Boston Garden Show over 20 years ago and I never really used it.  It attaches to a drill and it did a perfect job creating wee planting spaces.  I screened some soil in the potting shed to mix with the seeds.  I'll add a bit of sand as well.  It assures a more even distribution of the seeds.  I hope to seed on Friday before I leave to travel to MA for my brother's memorial.  (I saw my first cardinal at the Back Porch Cafe last night, a sign!)
