2022 Monday — Parade of Cards

My sister continues to outdo herself with the birthday cards she is sending me. She makes my birthday month extra special.

This afternoon we went out for awhile to do some errands. We went to Ace Hardware to get a couple things Mr. Fun needed, next door was a Good Will store, so we took a stroll thru there; everything seemed priced quite high considering it was all preowned. I especially wanted to go to our public Library, which has a fabulous “Friends of the Library” store. I want to purchase a copy of the book I’ve just finished which I’ve borrowed from the library. The book was not available, so oh well. Then we drove several miles to the south of town to shop at Trader Joe’s. It was the most we have been out and about since we’ve been back in our SoCal location.

Back at the house, I worked on sorting some old photos and also I have more things I need to shred. While I was distracted with all of that, Mr. Fun decided he’d cook dinner. Hooray!

That was our first Monday in November and this will be our 10th sleep here. We’ll head back to the coast just before Thanksgiving.
