Site visit

Site visits today out in the Rhins of Galloway. It was a traumatic drive through hellish traffic, road closures and no signal just when Sat-Nav was called for bit the company was good. Both on the drive and with the farmer we trundled around with. Lots of mediaeval and post-medieval farmsteads, prehistoric settlements and burnt mounds (literally mounds of burnt stones at Bronze Age feasting sites) and this which was some buildings connected with an 18th century lead mine.
