Work in progress

This afternoons' work. Last week I wet-felted the base with some funky colours. After spending a week staring at it while it dried, I finally got a sense of what I wanted to achieve just hours before the event! This is what I did in 2 hrs. Needlefelting texture and additional layers creating a river bed with vegetation. I'm making decisions on colours and design placement as I go along. It will have more texture, a knarly tree, and a vibrant sunset.
