Damp

It’s been a damp sort of day. Not just because it’s rained a lot, which it has, as is evidenced by all the puddles on our terrace, but also because I’ve been back on carpet cleaning duties again. That was after Smithers and I spent the morning updating his new (to him) technology, courtesy of son #1, who had replaced his Apple watch and iPhone and passed his old ones on to Dad. Everything transferred like a dream, but it still took a long time and necessitated much checking of passwords and answering of security questions before we were finished.

Once that was sorted, it was back to the production line – an order of 100 Christmas cards was made, and then out came the Vax cleaner again and another area of carpet in the spare bedroom was cleared and cleaned. The carpet is now being assisted to dry off by our trusty dehumidifier. Only one more section of carpet to go, and then I will get a strong son to help me put all the furniture back into its correct place. 

Then beginneth bedroom number two!
