Tulip SOTC

When I shot on film I used to do hardly any additional processing. A long time ago I used to process black and white so could have some control on cropping and contrast and the odd bit of dodging and burning. But more recently before I went digital I was often shooting on colour slide film with no chance to change anything. So I was a bit of purist. These days I find I process to some extent almost everything I shoot. So should I feel bad about processing in lightroom and photoshop ? I went to the Ansel Adams exhibition earlier in the year and I hadn't realised that he would sometimes spend a day in the darkroom making one of his prints just right. So maybe nothing has changed really its just got a whole lot easier. Anyway this one is untouched straight out the camera.

To see another excellent tulip shot look at SuttonLady she has been a welcome commenter on my blip for many months and has just taken the plunge and started blipping.
