Black-headed Gulls

I was glad we went out for an hour or so this morning when the sun was shining - it's pouring down again now!
After an unsuccessful visit to The Range this morning to look for mounting supplies, we popped over to Spike Island for a quick wander about. It was quite muddy and damp from yesterday's rain, so we didn't go far down the canal. Instead, we found some black-headed gulls at the lock looking rather splendid in the sunshine amongst the boats.
