Delicate work
A few months ago, I sold my old ute to my neighbour Simon. He loves it but he rang me this morning to say the back brake had seized. No problem I thought, as that’s happened to me before except this time it was seriously (totally) seized.
Tony was there to do some earthmoving and Steve to do some painting so between us we figured we could get the brake drum off. We started with a hammer then progressed to a bigger hammer, screw drivers, various levers, a crowbar and combinations of the above but to no avail.
As shown in the blip, we finally hooked a chain up to Tony’s excavator with spectacular results. The extra shows Tony and Steve surveying the damage which was actually quite minimal.
Rather than tow it all the way to Blackheath, I think we’ve talked Dave (rustycrapp) into coming out of retirement and replacing brake pads and cylinders on site.
