Emergency dandelion blip ... hand held so apologies to the tripod police ;)

A mixed day. I met with an old friend who currently works overseas for lunch. It was good to catch up and it was warm enough to dine al fresco.

Dad gave me a few headaches though. For the past few days, he has been experiencing symptoms that were giving cause for concern. He was stubbornly refusing to go to see his GP because he was FAR too busy (!), so I had to call one of his excellent friends to bully him into making the appointment. MIssion accomplished. GP diagnosed pleurisy and he is now on treatment.

Need a strong drink now ....
