Admitting Defeat

After three horrible wet days I decided to cut my losses and come home a day early from The Lakes.
My mate Dave had already decided to go home so there was no point in staying up there on my own. I took this shot of Aira Beck on my way to Penrith to get a bit of lunch before setting off back.
I’ll be checking up on the weather forecast before venturing back up this year.
