Looking in

Today our Skoda needed its MOT, so I had to pick Neil up in Poppy (our Polo) after he'd dropped it off. And I had to take him to pick the Skoda up again later. I'm not really into driving right now.

I thought I'd be too tired to chat to my German language partner Heidi but it was just so much fun as usual. We've agreed to a deal: I've sent her a short story I wrote and in return she will send me a clip of a play she's directed with the sixth formers at her school. I get very animated talking to her but it does leave me tired.

I haven't written much today. I was going to take the day off completely but there were a few words  ready to come out. I just need to decide what the villains  are up to now.

The photo was because I liked the light shining out from the bathroom and thought how inviting the open doorway is. Having a new shower room feels like its our own little spa!
