Poppies

Following on from yesterday's remembrance theme, today the village WI group placed a net of poppies over the wooden cross outside church.  There are also wooden crosses in the ground each bearing the name of one of the fallen from our village.  Very poignant - some village families lost more than one son. The knitted poppies look beautiful - well done to those involved.
