change how you travel

Our local village's Fairtrade Group are having a Big Green Week. Each day this week, we are encouraged to go on a thoughtful walk and to take a photo on a daily theme. Today's theme is "Change the Way You Travel". Since getting my magic bus pass, I have used the bus a lot, and this is our local bus shelter where I wait to be conveyed to Dumfries or to Dunscore. There are not many buses per day in either direction, but it's important to keep using the ones we have.

At the end of the week, there will be a Repair cafe held in the village hall, where a panel of experts will mend your broken stuff (or give advice on how it can be fixed or if it is worth fixing). They will also be judging all the photos submitted during the week - with the prize being a hamper of Fairtrade goodies.

Tomorrow's theme is "Change Your Energy Use"...I'll have to think about that one...
