Coot - 107

In my attempts to see how many different birds I can photograph in a year I end up neglecting the common ones so today I made an effort to photograph a coot. This one was at Christleton pond and I arrived just as someone threw down some bird seed. It does mean that the crop is closer than I would like but it was surrounded by  black headed gulls and mallards.
