The morning after

Spotted on a pavement nearby. Given the number of huge bangs which seemed to be right above the house I wonder if I need to check the roof and the solar panels!

Niddrie, just a mile or so away, was also recovering this morning from the dangerous behaviours of a minority setting off fireworks at the public and attacking the emergency services. This was obviously the reason for the road being blocked off at 11pm last night when I was heading back down to Aberlady to collect my niece and her fiancé.

We had a good brunch with them before they headed back to London and I continued with the greenhouse tidying up.
