Clock combination

I was given a gift of a clock a few years ago but haven't put a battery in it for a couple of years. I don't really like it and I was seeing if it still worked and could be taken to the thrift shop. When I tried to put the battery in, the front fell off, the innards fell out, and several pieces broke off. So I won't be keeping it or giving it away. Too bad! But I took a photo of the front and the innards and combined them for this image.
