Now the car knows it's winter

Every autumn there's a decision to make if you live in mid-Sweden. When is it time to  change to winter tyres?  
The studded tyres are not good for the environment or the roads. They wear the road and create more micro particles in the air. However, they also help stop you sliding off an icy road or getting stuck in snow.
So, the trick is to keep using summer tyres as long as possible and change just before the wintry weather arrives. The weather forecast for Wednesday is 27mm of precipitation! That's a lot of rain, or about 27 cm of snow and the forecast can't quite decide if it's going to arrive as rain, sleet, or snow! That decided us it was time for those winter tyres and today I swopped the wheels around. Now we are set up for the winter!
