Flossmo

Water

It poured down this morning. We had stuff to do so we set out for the supermarket and garden centre. There were huge puddles everywhere.  We had a right time of it trying to get our trolley from the exit at Sainsbury's back to our car at the far end of the car park as there was an enormous area of standing water between the two (it would have topped our shoes). We made it with dry feet after a detour up and down the rows of parked cars.  The garden centre was little better and full of Christmas stuff. We stayed just long enough to get a birthday present for a relative.

By early afternoon the sun was out and I persuaded Mr Flossmo to take me to Frensham Little Pond for a bit of fresh air. It was another drive through quite deep puddles before we got to the car park. It was very quiet for a Sunday afternoon and we enjoyed our stroll around the Pond after an absence of some weeks for one reason or another. There was still some warmth in the sun and it's remarkable how many leaves are still left on the trees.

This evening we watched a recording of Portrait Artist of the Year. It's such a pleasant, easy watch with some remarkable artists producing some amazing paintings in some four hours.
