Up early to get Jack over to Ella's for a lesson. Eva did a small course of jumps and focused on getting more impulsion going into the jumps otherwise he switches off and gets a bit lazy about picking up his feet! 

Mike collected Eva and I had an hr to spare before meeting a friend to ride so I cleaned the inside and outside of the horsebox. It had some moss growing on it and was nearly more green than silver!! Does look much better but still needs a spruce up. 

The friend I was supposed to ride with got held up so I was brave and took Bud out on his own. He was fab bless him but we didn't meet any lorries or tractors! 

No fireworks for us tonight as we wanted to stay home with the dogs. Lots of bangs in the village. Charley is deaf now so he wasn't bothered. Nell doesn't care either. Little Flora looked a bit worried but settled. I like fireworks but I think they should be restricted to organised displays only so people with animals know where and when they are happening. There's normally one house that does a massive display right next to the livery yard but fortunately the owner is away this year so we haven't had that worry with the horses.
